- Trigger Quality Notification from customer returns order
When saving a returns order, you can create a quality notification in quality management to trigger a parallel quality management process. The necessary settings for output management using output determination (SD-BF-OC) to create the quality notifications are already maintained. - You can select the QM Notification from a dropdown with the following options:
- Collective Notification: Assigns multiple returns order items to a single quality notification
- Single Notification: Generates a separate quality notification for each returns order item

Overview- Inspection planning:
- Improved selection for mass changes (QP05) and enhanced search functionality for material assignments (QP02)
- Inspection lot processing:
- Addition of the ability to cancel inspection lots with origin 17 (for example, from an external laboratory information management system [LIMS])

- Provision of a new flexible workflow template to automate notification processing
- Introduction of the option to protect fields from changes based on the notification’s system status
- Increase daily user efficiency and productivity through targeted usability enhancements in core quality management (QM) transactions
- Improve process control and flexibility by addressing specific customer requirements for more robust and adaptable QM processes
- Smaller enhancements from customer influence
- This feature bundles several valuable enhancements for Quality Management that originated directly from customer requests via the SAP Customer Influence program. These improvements focus on increasing usability, flexibility, and control in daily QM tasks, making core processes in quality planning, inspection processing, and notifications more efficient and user-friendly.

Additional supports for handling supplier complaints and delivery of APIs for integration
Overview- Enable suppliers to view additional quality notification information
- Allow Odata APIs to submit a complaint to the supplier
- Enable Odata APIs to collect cost in a complaint
- Enable customer exit to read e-mail IDs from an external system
- Provide mandatory fields for complaint creation (supplier, material, quantity, and unit of measure)
- Increase transparency and communication throughout the supplier complaint-handling process
- Provide integration with external systems using Odata APIs
- Meet customer requirements more easily
- API for complaint submission and cost collection

Inform the user that action is required for a quality notification task in the My Inbox app
Features- Manage workflows for notification tasks
With this feature you can configure a workflow for the processing of quality notification tasks. You configure the workflow with the Manage Workflows for Task Processing in QM app.
